Cat Takes Tea Poster

A tuxedo cat with bright yellow eyes presides over an afternoon spread: stacked floral teacups, a blue-striped teapot, tiered stands piled with cookies and layered cakes. The tablecloth is pink, the background grey-blue with a climbing vine pattern. Symmetry and flat color give the scene a formal, storybook calm.

Rendered in a gouache style with deliberate imperfect perspective. This is domestic theater for the kitchen or breakfast nook, or anyone who takes their tea seriously.
